We all need a mentor at some in our lives. It is a gift and a privilege to be able to help others walk a journey you have trodden. For emerging mentors and those who have started to mentoring, we have designed this course to help you. It will give you insight into foundational principles to help you become a better mentor and if you are new to mentoring, it will give you a great head start on this rewarding role.

objectives

This course is designed for those who are relatively new to mentoring or just started out mentoring others. You will leaner some basic principles to help guide you as you mentor others.  If you choose to be a part of a mentorship scheme, it will go through essential elements that enable mentors to be effective under a formal structure.  We have our own mentorship scheme that mentors do register unto and this course is mandatory for them to complete. 

Modules

The course is broken down into 5 modules making it easier for you to complete the course in a ‘bitesize’ format. We are able to give you a certificate for each module completed.  

  • Module 1 -Principles of mentoring
  • Module 2: Qualities of skills of a mentor
  • Module 3: Formats of Mentoring
  • Module 4: Structures, Policies & Procedures
  • Module 5 Adult Learners

 You have up to 4 weeks access to the module.

Anyone who has an interest to learn about Becoming a mentor or already started mentoring recently but not yet had any formal training in this area.  

You have the option to complete the workbook as it is part of the module fee. If you do complete it, one of our dedicated experience assessors will mark it for you with feedback you can use to help with further studies on the topic. 

The content in each module will provide key foundational principles needed for further study. You can also use it towards further studies with us in the vast subject of mentoring  and joining our mentorship scheme as a mentor.

Not at all. You can buy as little or as many modules as you want. You will still receive a certificate of achievement for 1 module or for all 5 modules.
